Carson-Newman University is located 25 miles east of Knoxville. CNU has hosted FUGE Camps since 1990. Both Centrifuge and MFuge are offered at Carson-Newman University.
Amenities
Carson-Newman offers great meeting facilities, dorm style housing (two per room), indoor pool and recreation center, campus bookstore and plenty of outdoor recreation space. Stokely Dining hall has several stations where you can enjoy comfort food from the Home station, choose a sizzling burger and fries from the grill and compliment your meal with a crisp salad, or dessert/soft serve ice cream. Housing is dorm style. Linens are not provided. Please be aware that your group is personally responsible for damages to any facilities including but not limited to the dorm room your group occupies. Camp Pastor
Ryan Murphy
Ryan is a dedicated middle school pastor who has been serving in his role at Osborne Baptist Church for 13 years. He currently resides in Eden, NC with his wife Tiffany and son, Judah. He has been attending FUGE Camps as a leader since 2008. Ryan has a passion for serving the students and he finds great joy in helping them navigate their faith in Jesus and making it their own. He is a graduate of Liberty University and is a current student of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. His hobbies include hitting on the SNKRS app, long walks with a good audiobook, and helping younger youth pastors begin their youth ministry journey.
Worship Leader
weRcalled
weRcalled (Romans 1:6) is a full-time family band with a full-time national touring schedule, appearing at concerts, events, DNows, student camps, conferences, and revivals. They have shared concerts and events with artists like Cain, For King & Country, Newsong, Audio Adrenaline, Austin French, Jason Gray, and Chris August. Along with being on tour with JJ Weeks for the My Porch Tour with Justin Warren and the Night of Joy Tour with Christian Comedian Bob Smiley. They have also performed acoustically on CCM Magazine’s, CCM Café.
The group is comprised of Darry Lisemby (drummer), Dj Lisemby (vocalist), Gracie McGinley (bassist), Eli McGinley (keyboardist), and Jonathon Lisemby (guitarist), and they are based out of Arkansas. All the group members have backgrounds in Christian ministries, serving in roles such as pastor, youth pastor, Christian counseling, music minister, and missions.
weRcalled’s focus is using music to encourage Christians to share the message of the cross.
