Cumberland University is a private university located in Lebanon, Tennessee, just 23 miles east of The Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. For more than 180 years, Cumberland University has been committed to preparing students for a lifetime of learning, leadership, and growth. While Lebanon has more of a small-town feel, you are never far from an abundance of stores and restaurants, in addition to endless options for dining, music, shopping, and sporting events in Nashville. Cumberland University has been hosting MFuge since 2023.
Cumberland has an indoor gymnasium to use for basketball and other activities. The open green space known as the quad will be available for daily activities, including various tournaments led by FUGE Camps staff. There is also a sand volleyball court and the Phoenix Nest, a place to play pool and lounge, located just below the dining hall. Vending machines are located throughout campus and take cash and cards. Dining will take place in Phillips Dining Hall offers quality food, excellent customer service, and a wide range of offerings. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, reach out to [email protected]. For housing, all rooms are two to a room with most dorms being community restrooms (bath on hall). There are some rooms that are suite-style where 4 people (2 rooms) will share one bathroom. Beds are twin size and linens are not provided. Please be aware that your group is personally responsible for damages to any facilities including but not limited to the dorm room your group occupies. Noah Leighton
Noah and his wife, Hanna, live in Nashville, TN, where Noah serves as the Associate Pastor of Students at FBC Goodlettsville. He is passionate about communicating biblical truths to students in a way that they can apply to their everyday lives. Noah holds a Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Luther Rice College & Seminary and is currently pursuing his master’s degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, playing with his dog Maggie, and watching his favorite sports teams break his heart every year.
