Worship Leader

Jared Shepherd

Jared is a worship leader, communicator, and disciple-maker who seeks to reveal more of the beauty of Christ through song and scripture. He is a worship pastor in Tuscaloosa, AL, where he desires to invest in the next generation of worshipers and leaders through empowering, equipping, and training those who believe there is more for their lives, according to God’s will for them. Jared’s desire is for everyone who trusts in Christ to recognize and see they are filled with promises and purposes for their good, and ultimately for the glory of Christ, to do abundantly more than they could ask, think, or imagine, by the power of the Holy Spirit at work in their lives. Part of Jared’s heart in seeing this come to life is partnering alongside other churches to encourage and inspire students and leaders to see Christ as their ultimate treasure, worthy of living their lives fully devoted to the mission of the Kingdom of God.

Jared is married to his wife, Clara, and they have two boys, Khyden and Kanon. Together, they love to travel, indulge in good food, be outdoors on the lake or in the mountains, and spend time with family and friends.
