Missouri Baptist University has been hosting FUGE Camps since 2021. The MBU campus is something you need to see to believe. Something is always going on. You’ll see firsthand why so many students choose to study at MBU. Have a latté at the coffee house. Visit our innovative learning center and state-of-the art sports and rec complex. Tour our flagship fine arts center. Nestled in St. Louis County, a quick drive takes you to several parks, the Arch, City Museum, the St. Louis Zoo and so many other areas offering entertainment, sports, live music venues and activities.

Amenities

MBU has grown into a full university over the last fifty years and has expanded with a number of new and renovated facilities. MBU Resident Halls promote community and relationships through common areas where students can enjoy ping pong, foosball, and pool. MBU offers great meeting facilities, including ThePerk Coffeehouse. The campus also has an on-site medical clinic, bookstore, gymnasium and plenty of indoor and outdoor recreation space. *Information listed above is subject to change without notice.

Camp Pastor

Scooter Kellum

Scooter Kellum has a passion for engaging the next generation to a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana’s (SCBI) Team Leader for Church and Leader Mobilization and has previously served as Alabama State Board of Missions Youth Ministry Strategist. He has worked with youth and college students all over the U.S. by serving in churches, speaking at summer camps, and leading the next generation ministries here at SCBI.

Scooter graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2009 and received a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) in 2015 and is currently working towards his Doctorate of Education at NOBTS. He and his wife, Chelsea, are originally from Mississippi and have four beautiful children: Tripp, Will, Abi-Lyn and Larkin. They have also been foster parents since 2018. He is a dedicated father and husband. Scooter looks for any occasion to celebrate and strives to enjoy life to the fullest.
