The beautiful wooded campus of University of Mobile is located just 10 minutes north of historic downtown Mobile, Alabama and an hour from Gulf Coast beaches. University of Mobile has been hosting FUGE Camps since 1981. The University of Mobile offers MFuge.

Amenities

Mobile has an outdoor pool, gym, coffee/snack shop, campus bookstore, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, and outdoor space. Housing will be in Samford Hall, Faulkner Hall, Ingram Hall, Arendall Hall, and Bedsole Hall. Dorm style housing with private bathroom. Linens are not provided. Please be aware that your group is personally responsible for damages to any facilities including but not limited to the dorm room your group occupies. You will also be asked by the facility to pay for any lost keys. *Information listed above is subject to change without notice.

Childrens, Games and Rec, PCY (Painting, Construction, and Yardwork), Social, Special Needs. *Track times offered are subject to change and depend on the size of camp for the session attending.

Camp Pastor

Scooter Kellum

Scooter Kellum has a passion for engaging the next generation to a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana’s (SCBI) Team Leader for Church and Leader Mobilization and has previously served as Alabama State Board of Missions Youth Ministry Strategist. He has worked with youth and college students all over the U.S. by serving in churches, speaking at summer camps, and leading the next generation ministries here at SCBI.

Scooter graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2009 and received a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) in 2015 and is currently working towards his Doctorate of Education at NOBTS. He and his wife, Chelsea, are originally from Mississippi and have four beautiful children: Tripp, Will, Abi-Lyn and Larkin. They have also been foster parents since 2018. He is a dedicated father and husband. Scooter looks for any occasion to celebrate and strives to enjoy life to the fullest.

Aaron Sherman

Aaron Sherman, from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, currently attends William Carrey University where he is pursuing a degree in Worship Leadership while also being an active member in his church, Petal Harvey Baptist Church.
